A man from western Michigan was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a 16-year-old girl who accused him of rape.

Quinn James, 43, of Wyoming, learned his sentence on Monday after a Grand Rapids jury found him guilty of first degree murder in the murder of Mujey Dumbuya. His body was found in January 2018 in woods in Kalamazoo, about 80 km southeast of his home in the Grand Rapids area.
