A man from western Michigan was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a 16-year-old girl who accused him of rape.
Quinn James, 43, of Wyoming, learned his sentence on Monday after a Grand Rapids jury found him guilty of first degree murder in the murder of Mujey Dumbuya. His body was found in January 2018 in woods in Kalamazoo, about 80 km southeast of his home in the Grand Rapids area.
James was a maintenance worker at Dumbuya School and she charged him with sexual assault in 2017. According to the authorities, James killed the girl while he was on bail of $ 100,000. in cash in the case of aggression.
Last December, he was sentenced to between 20 and 30 years in prison for third-degree criminal sexual behavior.
