Woman enters not guilty plea in doctor's murder case

Kelsey Turner, the woman accused of killing a Monterey doctor has pleaded not guilty of his murder, her lawyer Brian Smith said Saturday following her Turner's initial court hearing Saturday.

Turner is being held into the Clark County Jail in Nevada since March 21. She is expected to appear in court on June 3 at 9 a.m., court documents revealed.

Authorities were searching for additional suspects involved in the grisly crime, subsequently, two arrest warrants were issued for Jon Logan Kennison and Diana Nicole Pena in connection to the case. The two suspects, along with Turner, reportedly used to live in the same Las Vegas house where the body of Thomas Burchard was found.
