Harrisburg news, Pennsylvania news.

Harrisburg authorities identified the body found in Susquehanna River last Saturday as that of the suspect who escaped from cops before jumping off the Harvey Bridge earlier this year.

According to Sunday news release, the man was identified as Sean Walton, 37. His body was found on an island across from the PennDot Building around 4:30 p.m. by fishermen who then notified Dauphin County Communications and officials.

On January 5, deputies were responding to the Harvey Taylor Bridge about a person who "may have been involved in an accident earlier on 3rd & Forster Street. The male went to the bridge wall and jumped over. Officers heard the male strike the water but did not see him in the water."
