San Angelo authorities announced the arrest of a man who reportedly drove a stolen vehicle through a fence leading cops on a chase before stopping.
Jonathan Ray Briseno, 24-year-old, was arrested and charged with several felonies including evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance and marijuana.
The suspect had reportedly driven a stolen car through a fence when he failed to find an exit. He then continued his way across fields to Highway 67 toward Miles when he entered on a perilous chase with police before he stopped.
Preliminary search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and methamphetamine inside. The car was allegedly reported stolen on Monday at 9 a.m.
