President Donald Trump confirmed that the United States has the Turkey provided recording of the murder of Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
Trump said that there is "no reason" for him to listen to "a suffering tape" since he knows "everything that went on in the tape without having to hear it". He described what happened to the journalist at his country's consulate in Istanbul on October 2 as being "very violent, very vicious and terrible".
About the CIA assessment that concluded the involvement of the Saudi Crown Prince, Mr Trump said earlier that "it is very premature " but "possible". He is expected to receive a full report into Jamal Khashoggi's assassination on Tuesday.
