Pittsburgh synagogue shooting: a lesson against religious hatred

5years ago

The tragic shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, gave a lesson on how should people respond to religious hatred.

Just three weeks ago, a gunman stormed into the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, killed 11 people who were peacefully worshipping and injured two others. He wounded four police officers after they tried heroically to stop the attack.

That was the deadliest anti-semitic attack in the American history. The tragedy showed that the evil of anti-semitism is still present in the country. Especially against the Jewish community.

The Islamic center of Pittsburgh has raised around $240,000 for the victims of the attack, that was a perfect example of placing humanity ahead of all the differences, religious and ideological ones.
