Former judge arrested after stabbing and killing wife

6years ago

The former judge of Cuyahoga County was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly stabbing and killing his wife Aisha Fraser Mason, at her home near Cleveland.

Police responded to a domestic dispute reported at the 17000 block of Chagrin Blvd home, when the suspect's car hit the police's one.

Lance Mason had already served nine months in jail after beating his wife's head 20 times against a car dashboard, in her daughters presence back in 2014. The wife had to receive reconstructive surgery and treat a broken orbital bone. Consequently, the suspect had been fired from his job as a Cuyahoga County Common Pleas judge.

Fraser Mason was teaching the sixth grade at Woodbury Elementary School, the same school her daughters attend. She had filed for divorce after the 2014 assault.
