Denver news, Colorado news.

A Former Denver Bronco was cited over the weekend after he allegedly entered in a physical altercation with an Uber driver.

Deiontrez Mount, 26, had concealed a ride in the Uber with another person when he was asked to leave but refused telling the driver to drop him off at the closest store. However, Mount refused again to leave even after the driver took him to the destination he wanted.

The Uber driver then left the car and opened the passenger door asking Mount to leave his car. That's when the Bronco "initiated a physical altercation" with the driver who punched him back, injuring his nose.

The driver was beaten by Mount on the arms, head, back and sides before he reached his vehicle and called police.

Mount was cited for simple assault and later released.
