1 pedestrian killed, another miraculously survives tragic hit-and-run crashes

Two accidents have been occurred in San Francisco on the night of Tuesday by hit-and run drivers and caused the death of a pedestrian while another suffered serious injuries.

At around 8:07 p.m. the first deadly accident took place at California Street and 18th Avenue. 64-year-old Zhao Guan was crossing the road when she was suddenly hit by a silver sedan that fled the area.

According to police, the next accident happened around First and Howard streets at around 10:27 p.m, a pedestrian whose name has not been released was dragged for at least half a block before being caught under a big box truck. Officials arrested the driver shortly afterwards.

The victim was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.
