‘Pretty horrifying’: Conspiracy theorist dies after self-immolation incident outside NYC courthouse

The conspiracy theorist who lit himself on fire outside the Manhattan courthouse where former President Donald Trump stands trial in the hush money case has succumbed to his injuries.

37-year-old Max Azzarello died from severe burns after the self-immolation incident at Collect Pond Park Friday afternoon.

Witnesses saw the troubled man throwing a stack of leaflets in the air before dousing himself with fuel and igniting his body.

  • “He was just standing there, and after a minute hit the ground. By the time the cops got there, all of the fuel had burnt off of his body, and you could see his skin,” a 25-year-old witness recalled.

    “He didn’t make too much noise, he was very quiet. Pretty horrifying.”

    Azzarello was an unemployed Florida resident. He was arrested several times for disturbing the peace and damage to property.
