Chicago police said Thursday morning that a hit-and-run crash in the Park Manor neighborhood left two people killed inside their vehicle.
At about 1:40 a.m. in the 7100-block of South State Street, a car was speeding northbound then fled the scene exiting the ramp on State Street. Police said the speeding car hit another vehicle, a four door white Sedan, killing the two passengers inside: two men, 42, and 35, were found dead.
Authorities said that the crash is still under investigation. No one is now in custody.
Earlier this month, three people were killed in another hit -and-run crash on the city's South Side, when the driver was chased by police for speeding, caused the accident, and ran away.
