Bryan Rogers, 31, a Wisconsin man pleaded not guilty to sexual exploitation of a child, after he was accused of helping the 14-year-old escape sexual violence in exchange for a video of his rape. Rogers also pleaded not guilty Thursday for making false statements.
Authorities said Rodgers met the Tennessee teenager in the Roblox online game in December and told him she was raped by her adoptive father.
They say Rodgers offered to help her escape if she provided him with "clear video evidence". The court records indicate that he received the video in January and took it to his home in Madison a few days later. The adoptive father of the girl was arrested for rape.
