Volusia County sheriff’s deputies and Lake Helen Police arrested a central Florida man accused of making a potentially explosive device and possessing/transporting explosive with the intent to harm after they allegedly found jars of triacetone triperoxide, or TATP a highly volatile Cristalline powder in his home.

The chemicals have been nicknamed “Mother of Satan” by terrorist groups like al-Qaida, according to authorities.

Federal agents and members of the area bomb units intervened to diffuse the situation without hurting anyone.

Jared Coburn, 37, has been ordered held without bond in a county corrections facility. Lake Helen Police Chief Mike Walker said that the suspect told them "He was making his own version of a firework."
