Monday night on Ohio 741 drivers and motorists were avoiding hitting a man walking in the middle of the street. the man identified as Brandon A. Spearman, 29, from Dayton was killed on the state route when hit by an SUV about 7:50 p.m. near Cox Arboretum in Miami. the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office said that the cause of Spearman’s death is still undetermined.
Miami Twp. police said that they have received a 911 call from a woman who reported the body of a man was lying before a stopped vehicle and that she doesn't know anything about the accident or if the man died or only blacked out.
authorities revealed that Spearman was walking south when the southbound vehicle struck him in the 6600 blocks in front of Bishop Leibold school.
a woman shared her encounter with spearman 10 min before his death as he appeared in front of her daughter's car and forced her to move to the right lane so as not to hit him.
the accident took place only a block away south of the site of a fatal crash during a high-speed Moraine police chase in September where Mary Taulbee died after her car crashed with a Moraine cruiser driven by Matt Barrie, who was chasing a car theft suspect.
