In North Carolina, 55-year-old Michael Lee Hasson, an oral surgeon accused of sexually assaulting anesthetized patients, including minors. He was charged with new offenses.
According to a report by Wilmington StarNews Lee Hasson was arrested last month for sexual violence and forced sexual assault.
Wilmington police said the surgeon was accused of sexually abusing female patients between 2009 and 2018. Last week, his known victims were between 17 and 21 years old at the time. The police did not release any other information.
The Board of State Dental Examiners suspended Mr. Hasson's anesthesia license last week after his arrest on the charges.
