The family of the California rapper who was shot dead by cops on Saturday claimed that their son was sleeping and has not threatened the officers.
The event happened on Saturday night in a Taco Bell drive-thru in Vallejo when the local rapper Willie McCoy also known as Willie Bo was shot dead inside his car by police officers.
According to police claims, the victim has unresponsively slumping over the car then suddenly pointed a gun on them: "In fear for their own safety, the officers discharged their weapons at the driver," authorities said.
The artist's cousin said in a post on Facebook: "You can't just keep killing us in the street like this; my cousin was asleep in the car and they shot him 20 times."
