York County news, Pennsylvania news.

Remains of an elderly woman have been found Thursday inside a white freezer in a Warrington Township property.

Two women made the horrific finding when they were searching the house in order to purchase it. They discovered human bones in black trash bags under a blanket.

Investigators could locate a victim's relative in a York Haven home. She told police that she thought the woman was still alive at 112 years of age. She also said that she continued receiving financial compensation from the victim for caring for her even after the woman's death.

The remains were "significantly decomposed". An autopsy was conducted to determine the death cause. The victim's identity was not released.
