A pot-smoker who broke into a Houston home couldn't believe his eyes when he noticed a big tiger in cage inside the house's garage.
Responding officers found the overweight female tiger in bad conditions inside the small cage in the garage secured with screwdriver and nylon strap.
"It was important to get it out of the situation," said Lara Cottingham. Officials had to tranquilized the animal to transport it to BARC Houston, an organization dedicated to animal care, where it will be placed until finding an appropriate home.
"There's an incredible network all across the United States. It's just finding the right combination and then transporting," Cottingham stated.
Authorities are looking for the real owner of the tiger, and how it ended up inside the house's garage.
