A semi-truck hit a plate of ice and crashed into a police officer's vehicle. The accident was in Wisconsin on Monday. The policeman miraculously managed to escape his injury.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 am as the officer entered the intersection, the truck driver attempted to stop, but hit a patch of ice and slipped into the officer's vehicle.
The accident was filmed on a video camera as another officer was following the police vehicle that had been hit. the video shows that the truck was driving too fast.
The officer was initially trapped inside the vehicle, but was finally able to free himself, without being injured, the police said.
The driver was cited for driving too fast for the wintry weather conditions.
