Jet crash in Texas Air Force Base kills 1 pilot and hurts another

A pilot is dead and another was severely injured when a jet crashed Tuesday at Laughlin Air Force Base in Texas.

The T-38C Talon crashed at approximately 7:40 p.m. on Tuesday. The causes of the crash were still unclear, and under investigation of a board of officers , as well as the names of the two victims.

The surviving pilot was rushed to Val Verde Regional Medical center, his condition is still unknown.

Last August, Texas knew another jet crash, when a single-engine aircraft crashed on takeoff from a rural North Texas airfield, killing the pilot and injuring three others, two of them were children.
