Suspect arrested for fatal stabbing in San Jose

According to authorities, a man died from stab wounds on Saturday near the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds.

The wounded victim was found at around 6:35 p.m. by police when they investigated the 2700 block of Monterey Road after an 911 call, San Jose police Sgt. Enrique Garcia said.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital. He died later in the night.

The man's identity has not been revealed at this time.

Reports said that a suspect who has been involved in the crime was arrested and remains in jail while the investigation is still ongoing.
