A man has been arrested in connection with the killing of a woman who was found dead Saturday inside a trailer in West Valley City.
The victim is believed to have 40-year-old but her name has not been released y authorities.
Police discovered the woman's body after they received an emergency call to a trailer at 6:30 p.m. near 3300 Chester Park Drive.
The crime was described as a homicide, WVCPD public information officer Roxeanne Vainuku said: "At this point we have a homicide investigation on our hands, we have backed off of the scene and have executed a search warrant so we can get in there and start to gather evidence; We have a homicide victim and of course, that's a situation that has an apparent danger, we certainly have a significant situation going on here."
