10 victims hospitalized after a suspected DUI driver plowed into a crowd near restaurants and bars in downtown Fullerton

Fullerton police responded in the area of ​​100 West Santa Fe Avenue to a total of 10 victims who were struck by a red Toyota Tacoma at approximately 1:45 am. This is a suspected impaired driving driver getting engulfed in a crowd near the downtown restaurants and bars early today.

With the help of good Samaritans, the officers managed to lift the Tacoma enough to free the pedestrians stuck under it.

Officers immediately took rescue measures for the injured. 10 victims were transported to local trauma centers with moderate to severe injuries ranging from 18 to 49 years.

The driver of Tacoma, later identified as Christopher Solis, 22, of Anaheim, is suspected of driving under the influence of the drug at the time of the accident. He was placed under arrest for DUI offense, causing serious bodily harm.
