'Stone Cold Killers' denied bail for alleged killing, concealment of body

The three suspects accused of killing a 20-year-old man on Jan 2018 before concealing the body on a Chicago trash bin were not allowed to bail, authorities said.

38-year-old Candice Jones, her son Ernest Collins, 22, and Cassandra Green, 21, allegedly killed Michael Armendariz, 20, who was discovered few months later in a trash bin.

The trio also known as "stone cold killers" had made a failed attempted robbery to Armendariz home.

According to Dupage County assistant state's attorney, Collins shot the victim twice to the head on Jan. 14, 2018. His remains were found on May 31.

The trio faced several charges including first-degree murder, concealment of a homicidal death and armed robbery.

Their court arraignment is set to be on March 4 at 9 a.m.
