Brandon Judd: Caravan migrants could have accomplished the mission in home country

Border Patrol Union President Brandon Judd said that the migrants heading to the United States to seek Asylum could have accomplished the same mission in their native countries by presenting their requests at consulates and embassies there.

Judd said that if they were in their home countries, it would have been easier to investigate if they are eligible for asylum.

"They can accomplish these exact same things in their own countries", or present themselves at U.S. ports of entry according to legal process".

Judd statements came as almost 4,000 Central American migrants prepare to leave a stadium in southern Mexico after spending much of the week in the complex, resting and receiving medical attention, before resuming their arduous trek.
