Death penalty considered for accused killer of 5 women

A death penalty is being sought for the suspect accused of shooting dead five women at a Florida bank on January.

The decision of seeking the death penalty against Zephen Xaver, 21, reached by State attorney Brian Haas was considered as an "unquestionable conclusion."

Zephen Xaver was reportedly indicted by a grand jury in Highlands County on five counts of first-degree murder. His court arraignment is believed to be later on February.

"I will seek the ultimate punishment; If you look at the situation with the horror of what happened, with five victims, it was, for me, an obvious conclusion to reach," Haas said at a news conference on Friday.
