An Oklahoma suspect wanted since 2013 in connection with the killing of his ex-wife has been finally caught in Mexico on Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old former police officer with the Blackwell Police Department Janett Reyna was stabbed by her ex-husband Luis Octavio Frias, 34, at least 41 times in August 2013 as their children watched the attack.
An anonymous caller contacted the U.S Marshals after seeing the case on TV.
In a press release, U.S. Marshals Service Acting Deputy Director David Anderson stated: "The arrest of Luis Octavio Frias allows a wounded community to start healing and stands as a testament to the crucial role the public plays in helping us locate and arrest dangerous fugitives."
