A Connecticut mother was shot dead in her house after bullets crossed through the window of her William Street duplex house Tuesday night.
The event happened at 8:00 p.m. while Sujata Lee Edwards, 37, was watching out her son through the window. Someone fired toward her from the outside.
According to reports, the victim's mother witnessed the incident.
When police arrived at the crime scene, they found Edwards who was shot in the torso bleeding on the second floor.
After a failed attempt to reanimate the victim, she was transferred to the hospital where she died later in the day.
No suspect has been arrested in the case.
