A Montgomery woman has been charged with murder in connection with a 2016 shooting case.
Angelica Brown, 39, was taken into police custody on Oct. 28, 2016 only days after she allegedly shot Antonio Desmond Washington dead. The victim's body was found on the roadside near Ramer when county engineers reported it to authorities.
Brown's indictment documents showed that the victim was shot to death by a semi-automatic handgun between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. in the 5700 block of Mt. Zion Road north of Ramer about 25 feet off the roadside. He had no identification when discovered.
Court documents filed on Tuesday showed that a Montgomery grand jury returned an indictment against Brown who remains free on $75,000 bond.
