Authorities announced that the Houston former Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young who was arrested on a drunken driving charge is now free on bond.
According to the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office, the arrest of the 35-year-old athlete occurred on Monday at around 4:30 a.m. in the Missouri City area of suburban Houston.
He has faced a charge of misdemeanor driving while intoxicated.
Young was released in the same day after paying a bond of $500.
"The deputy noticed slurred speech and a strong smell of alcoholic beverage," Sheriff's spokesman Bob Hanel said to a news outlet adding that the six-year NFL veteran failed in all the sobriety tests they gave to him.
In January 2017, the athlete have pleaded no contest to driving drunk in Austin. He since served a 18-month probation.
