Michigan Uber driver who perpetrated 6 killings sentenced

A Michigan man who had entered a guilty plea in January will likely received the life behind bars without possibility of parole in the killing of six passengers while he worked as an Uber driver.

The 48-year-old former Michigan Uber driver Jason Dalton who had entered a surprising guilty plea for all charges on Jan. 7. is set to be sentenced Tuesday in Kalamazoo County.

The suspect admitted the killing in order to avoid putting the victims's families through a trial, reports said.

The crimes happened in multiples locations in the Kalamazoo area.

Dalton has allegedly carried out the shootings in between picking up riders on Feb. 20, 2016.

Six victim had been killed including four women, a man and a teen.
