A Manhattan dietitian was found hung in her bedroom on Wednesday after police were called by her worried co-workers when she didn't show up for work.
Tara Condell, 27, was found dead at her West Village apartment with a cloth around her neck at around 4:30 p.m. during the police wellness check requested by her colleagues after she posted a suicide note to her website.
Condell has reportedly left another note in a folder in the living room in which she apologized to her mom, and claimed she had the suicidal idea for over a decade. "I often felt detached while in a room full of my favorite people. I also felt absolutely nothing during what should have been the happiest and darkest times in my life," the note said.
Condell was a registered dietitian nutritionist.
