According to authorities, the father of two children who were found buried in the backyard of their home in Guyton was charged with murder on Monday.
50-year-old Elwyn Crocker Sr., was a Santa in the local Walmart. He and four persons face charges of felony murder for the death of his 14-year-old daughter Mary Crocker. His other son Elwyn Crocker Jr. was reportedly missing since November 2016 before the finding of his remains.
In a statement, Effingham County Sheriff Jimmy McDuffie said: "We've just got a lot more information on Mary because of course, it's more recent. With JR, it was two years old, and we're just still trying to put together the pieces on what happened with that."
