Police said on Monday that the girl who was discovered dead inside her house in 2017 was "purposefully set on fire and burned alive" while the search for the three suspects was ongoing.

Maggie Long was last seen in December 2017 while she attended a concert at Platte Canyon High School and never show up again.
On a website created for the slain victim, authorities said that: "Investigative efforts at the scene revealed a physical altercation took place between Maggie and her assailants before the fire started."
A $50,000 reward for information about the three men and their whereabouts was offered by authorities.
