Florida woman charged for killing victim, living with corpse's pieces

A Florida woman has been charged after she fatally killed her friend and cut up his body and continued living in a recreational car with the corpse pieces.

47-year-old Penny Pospisil, allegedly killed Anthony Mitchell, 55, last summer at an RV park in Sumter County. A month later, she moved the victim's remains to Brevard County, investigators said.

The suspect claimed that she killed Mitchell in self-defense since she was suffering from domestic violence.

The victim's cause of death is described as a homicide due to blunt force trauma. His dismembered body was found inside a trailer at a campground in Melbourne.

Pospisil was charged with second-degree murder and abuse of a dead human body, reports said.
