Five year probation for trying to attend Famous Dex concert

An Arkansas man had admitted attempting to steal a commercial plane so he could assist to an out-of-state rap concert by rapper Famous Dex.

19-year-old Zemarcuis Scott was sentenced to five year probation after pleading guilty to attempted theft of property and commercial burglary. In June 2018, Scott was found in the cockpit of an American Eagle twin-engine plane at the Texarkana Regional Airport. He told investigators he thought he would be able to pilot the plane himself since it doesn't need more than pulling levers and pushing buttons.

Scott was considered mentally competent to stand trial last December. Adding to his probation sentence, He will have to participate in a mental health treatment and pay a $1,000 fine and court coats.
