According to police, the 20-year-old mother charged with murder in the death of her 7-month-old baby girl is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
The incident happened when deputies went to a house on Galena View Drive off West Sugar Creek Road Monday at about 4:55 a.m trying to save the life of the baby Jade Williams.
Raeonna Allen Watson has been charged with murder after being questioned by authorities at police headquarters, officials said.
The child died after being transported to Atrium Health, the cause of his death remains unclear.
The woman was charged as a result of a massive investigation and questioning at the hospital and the house where the infant was discovered.
