Police announced Thursday the arrest of a Radford University student who has allegedly stabbed her follow classmate.
According to authorities, 21-year-old Luisa Ines Tudela Harris Cutting admitted the killing and asked police to arrest her saying: "I killed her."
The incident occurred when police arrived to an apartment and found the suspect covered in blood in the floor with a butcher knife sticking out of her mouth, reports said.
The victim was identified as the Virginia school's student Alexis Cannon.
Cutting was charged with second-degree murder and was first scheduled to be arraigned on Friday but concealed. Her social media's pages claimed that she was a psychology major.
It remains unclear if the suspect had a lawyer.
