According to police, three people were shot while a gunman attacked a house and a bar near Penn State University Thursday night.
State College Police Chief John Gardner said that 21-year-old Jordan Witmer fatally shot three people at the P.J. Harrigan' bar before breaking down into a nearby house and attacked an elderly man while his wife, who had locked herself in the bathroom, called 911.
Dean Beachy who was shot in the head died Friday afternoon while 19-year-old Steven Beachy was shot in the torso and transferred to the hospital.
Another victim, a 21-year-old Nicole Abrino who was at the bar, was shot in the chest but survived.
Students have expressed their frustration because the university didn't send out updated as the incident happened.
