Manhunt underway for gunman who killed 4 people in targeted shootings.

Authorities in Georgia are on the lookout for a gunman who killed four people and injured another person in targeted shootings at two different locations in Polk County.

The shootings happened around 8 p.m. at two different locations about three blocks away from each other.

The first happened at a home on Williamson Street in Rockmart. Two people were fatally shot and another was injured.

Minutes later, police were called to a second shooting just blocks away at an apartment on Rome Street. When officers arrived, they found two other people had been fatally shot. A fifth shooting victim was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center

Police said the shootings are connected.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued four murder arrest warrants for the suspect identified as 27-year-old Daylon Delon Gamble who is still at large and believed to be armed and dangerous.

The names of the victims have not yet been released. Officials believe Gamble targeted the victims, and are working to learn his motive.
