A woman died following a single-vehicle accident in the west-central state last night.
On Wednesday, January 23, 2019, emergency services were called to Henry Parkes Way, about 30 km west of Parkes, after a Toyota Corolla left the road and hit a tree.
Police officers from the Central West Police District went to the scene and found the driver and his only occupant, a 47-year-old woman, trapped in the vehicle.
The woman was extirpated but could not be resuscitated and died on the scene.
The police appeal anyone with information to come forward.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
