A New Jersey mother was arrested in connection with the death of her baby who was found unconscious after she passed out on him Saturday night.
According to police, the incident happened when authorities found Antoinette King, 33, lying on top of her 1-year-old son as they responded to a family member call for aid at around 8:30 p.m.
Both the mother and her son Jerimiah were transported to the hospital. She could be revived by administering Narcan while the boy was prounonced dead in the same day.
Reports say that a medical examiner will conduct an autopsy on the child.
It is still unclear if the mother was overdosing on drugs, she faces one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
