Evie Cluke was a coach of Ian David Long, the 28-year-old gunman who opened fire at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks last Wednesday. Recalling him when he was a high school student in 2007 and 2008.

"He was out of control. He would scream and cuss and his face would turn bright red and people would actually back away from him ", says Cluke describing the shooter who killed 11 and a police sergeant before fatally shooting himself. She coached him on Newbury Park High School's track team, and remembers him being volatile, intimidating and sadistic.

Cluke remembers also that he once talked about his wish to join the military, and that he wanted so to "kill for our country" which is in her opinion was chilling, right down to bones.
