A British man was arrested Sunday night by police after he was found carrying a 15-inch machete on a train.
The unnamed man was detained by the British Transport Police after reports were made by members of the public who had seen the large knife while boarding the London-bound train at Witham.
Officers drew a Taser during the incident aboard a Greater Anglia Service between Colchester and Witham in Essex.
BTP said the Taser was not used and the man was arrested suspicion of two offenses and taken into custody for questioning.
