On Sunday, January 20, 2019, at approximately 11:10 am, emergency services responded to a vehicle returned to Abercrombie Road, Oberon.

Police from Chifley Police District attended the visit and located a 90-year-old woman trapped in a Toyota Corolla.

She was the only occupant of the vehicle.

For unknown reasons, it is believed that the vehicle left the road as it headed south on Abercrombie Road, about 500 meters north of Mozart Road, before falling into a nearby pen.
