A Missouri woman was arrested on a charge of endangering the welfare of a child after her son fell out of the moving car and got fatally struck.
Ebony Roby of St. Louis is now in police custody after the accident that occurred on Friday around 5 p.m. on a road near Interstate 70 in St.Louis. Her 2-year-old son Elijah Roby was fatally run over after falling out her moving car. The mother reportedly called 911 after taking the toddler to a nearby gas station. The boy died in a hospital of the injuries he sustained, local news outlets reported.
Roby faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child. She is being held on a $50,000 bond according to St. Louis County police.
