Weymouth Police are looking for suspects who attacked a store clerk during violent armed robbery.

A gas station clerk was violently attacked in an armed robbery which was captured on surveillance video at a gas station in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Officers responded around 3:30 a.m. Thursday to a report of an armed robbery at the Mobil Gas Station located at 512 Main Street.

The clerk told police that he was assaulted and robbed by three men armed with a handgun.

Surveillance footage shows that one of the thieves struck the clerk over the head with a handgun during a brief struggle.

Police said the men fled north on Main Street with an undetermined amount of money It is unclear at this time whether a vehicle was involved in the getaway.

Abe Nassif, who manages the gas station, says the incident was alarming.

“He might kill him. Thank God nothing happened, but if he keeps fighting, he might have shot him,” Nassif said.

The clerk is okay and has since returned to work but did not want to go on camera.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males. One man had a red jacket on with a blue backpack, another had on a black jacket, grey sweatpants, a baseball hat, and white shoes. The third had on a black puffy jacket, sandals with socks, and a black baseball hat with a red, white and blue brim.
