A woman is in hospital after a pursuit and crash in Erskine Park

A woman in the hospital for blood and urine tests after an accident in West Sydney.

Today, traffic control and highways attempted to stop a Ford Falcon car, which was traveling west on the M4 to Minshinbury.

The car did not stop and the pursuit started. Then the car headed west on the M4 and then onto the Roper Road exit at Erskine Park, where the car left the road and fell to the side.

The driver, a 20-year-old woman was the only one in the car, she was arrested and taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests. The woman also had minor injuries.

After her release, she must be transferred to the Parramatta Police Station and charged.
