Two men were indicted after fighting in the south of the state.
On Saturday, January 12, 2019, at approximately 11:30 pm, the police went to the premises in Parker Street, Cootamundra, after being informed of the fighting.
When officers from Riverina Police District arrived, the crowd dispersed.
After being interrogated today at around 1 pm, a 23-year-old man went to the Wagga Wagga Police Station where he was arrested. Shortly after, a 20-year-old man went to the Cootamundra police station, where he was arrested.
The two men were charged with fighting and received conditional bail in the Cootamundra court on Monday, April 1, 2019.
Investigations continue.
