A man died after a car accident near Nyngan in the night.
On Wednesday, January 16, 2018, before 1800 hours, a Toyota Hilux was heading the north along Murrawombie Road, Girilambone, about 70 km north of Ninjen, when it left the road and crashed.
The car overturned and the driver, a 63-year-old man from Girilambone, was chased out. He died on the scene.
A passing motorist informed police officers. The Central North Police District was investigating the conditions surrounding the accident.
A medico-legal report will be prepared.
